Hailing from Barbados, Adrian Carew transitioned into Toronto’s beauty and fashion scene in his early twenties. Most recently, Adrian is the recipient of the prestigious 'Unsung Hero Award' (2021) by the Barbados Canada Association. It recognized Adrian for his work in the diaspora while remaining faithful to his homeland Barbados.

Adrian's work has graced numerous publications, including Vogue Italia, Vanity Flair France, L’OFFICIEL Australia, Flare, Holr, Salon Magazine, Elle Canada, Mob Journal, Caribbean Bride, and Canadian Hairdresser. His creative talents and contributions led him to be showcased as a platform artist for Schwarzkopf and Revlon Professional. Adrian became winner of Revlon Style Master Canada 2015 and 2016 and Top 9 in The World 2015 Revlon Style Master. In addition, he has provided training to international hairstylists on how to manage black/ethnic hair during Milan Fashion Week in collaboration with Wella Italy and Show Division Milano.
